Demo Day: A Celebration of Entrepreneurship at Northeastern

The Husky Startup Challenge is the flagship startup competition at Northeastern University. Students take their ventures from idea to reality in a 9 week incubation process to earn the opportunity to pitch at Demo Day (this event) for a chance to win $5,000 in cash prizes.
This year they had one of the most competitive cohorts the university has ever seen. 130+ students representing over 68+ startup teams are competing for a chance to win the competition. The top 10 student-startups will be pitching on Demo Day and you do not want to miss it!
Event Details:
6:00 to 6:45 pm – All ventures table at the Curry Student Center 1st floor which gives the audience an opportunity to interact with founders, learn more about their venture, and start picking your favorites
6:45 to 7 pm – Transition to Curry Student Ballroom for live pitches
7:00 to 8:00 pm – The top 10 startups will pitch to you (audience) for 3 minutes each
8:00 to 8:10 pm – Hear students from India pitch their venture
8:10 to 8:20 pm – Judges deliberate while the audience picks the audience favorite venture ($500)
8:20 to 8:30 pm – Winners announced, speeches, photo session, and a big thank you!
