Join LearnLaunch and attorney Matt Johnson of Cooley, LLP for a brown bag lunch session on GDPR. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation from the European Union which took effect on May 25, 2018. It has the potential to affect any company that handles data within the EU and the European Economic Area. Two months into GDPR, we’ll learn how organizations are dealing with this new regulation and what to expect from its enforcement.
Who is this session for?
CEOs; privacy, data security, or legal officers; and potential founders concerned about the impact of GDPR on their organizations will get the most out of this session.
What will you get out of this session?
Understanding of how GDPR is generally affecting edtech organizations, and answers to your questions about how it might affect your organization’s specific issues.
How can you get the most out of this session?
1. Submit questions in advance through the Eventbrite registration or by email to events@learnlaunch.org.
2. Bring your lunch! We’ll have coffee, tea, water, and seltzer, but a brown bag lunch isn’t a brown bag lunch unless you bring your lunch.
