The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting brings together more than 1,700 of our region’s leaders for a celebration of the Greater Boston business community and our thriving economy.
Last year, they celebrated with the theme “ROI: Return on Influence,” as a means of honoring individuals and organizations from the business community who give back in major ways to our communities, our nonprofits, and to the people who live and work in Greater Boston. The evening kicked off with Keith Lockhart conducting the Boston Pops, and both Governor Baker and Mayor Walsh joined us with rousing remarks about the importance of the Chamber and our members. We also heard from keynote speaker, attorney Ken Feinberg who was the leading pro-bono administrator of the One Fund Boston Victim Relief Fund. And they inducted our 2017 Distinguished Boston honorees including Carol Fulp of the Partnership, Joyce and Bill Cummings of Cummings Properties and the Cummings Foundation, Inc., and Sandy and Paul Edgerley of the Edgerley Family Foundation.
