Attorney General Maura Healey’s Office recently released guidance for employers and employees on An Act to Establish Pay Equity, Chapter 177 of the Acts of 2016. The new law that goes into effect on July 1, 2018 requires that employees be paid equally for comparable work regardless of gender.
To help employers and employees better understand new requirements under the law, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an informational discussion with representatives from the Attorney General’s Office to provide an overview of key information employers and employees need to know for compliance and answer questions.
