The Future of Work in a Tech Driven Economy

August 6, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

  • This event has passed.

With the rapid pace of technological progress, work in the future will look very different than today. This event will explore how working people can anticipate the challenges and pursue the professional and economic opportunities in the future of work.

We live in perhaps the greatest age of technological innovation in human history. Yet many people are not experiencing the benefits of this progress. Wage growth is at a standstill, and jobs that were once pathways to guaranteed prosperity have dramatically changed or disappeared. To thrive in the rapidly advancing digital economy, working people will need to be prepared.

  • How work is changing?
  • What jobs will be relevant in the future?
  • What skills will be required?
  • How will we maintain our personal financial security?
