Matt Thomas, (Principal at Bolt) and Dan Heck (Vice President at OpenView) will share their expectations for how founders should be incorporating the current climate into their investor pitch, all the way from pre-seed and seed through series A and B.
Matt Thoms (Principal @Bolt)
Matt draws from his experience both investing in and operating early-stage tech startups to empower founders in tech-enabled businesses. A mechanical engineer by training, Matt was previously VP of Investments for five years, working to develop, operate, and finance startups across a number of sectors.
Dan Heck (Vice President @OpenView Venture Partners)
As Vice President at OpenView Venture Partners, Dan identifies investment opportunities, leads diligence and works with entrepreneurs to help build large, enduring companies. Prior to OpenView, he was an Investor at Touchdown Ventures, where he set up and ran venture funds on behalf of corporations. He also spent time working with early-stage entrepreneurs in the Midwest at Hyde Park Angels and began his career at Target’s Corporate HQ in Minneapolis.
