Ari Glantz is the Associate Director of Development & Strategic Initiatives at the New England Venture Capital Association, where he leads the organization’s strategy for membership, sponsorship, and partnerships, supervises events and content creation, and advises on legislative matters. He is a member of the FWD.us New England Innovation Council, a mentor at the Canopy City co-working space, and an infrequent contributor to TechCrunch and BostInno.
Ari draws unique perspective from the highly atypical journey that led him to the NEVCA. Immediately prior, he negotiated challenging people, places, and situations in the human services industry, and the years before that saw stops in Paris, Australia, Southeast Asia, and San Francisco – as an au pair, baseball player, backpacker, and entrepreneur, (respectively). Ari is a graduate of Vassar College, where he co-founded his first startup, captained the baseball team, and met his wife. As a native Cantabrigian, he is somewhat ashamed to admit that he now lives in Somerville.
